Farkas the farking fool

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 8:55 pm

Thread title, my new full name for Farkas, there we are crawling around a certain dungeon, I'm using sneak, I know that Farkas is not a sneak type character, but that's ok, anyway, a couple of draugrs start attacking him, what does Farkas do?, sweet FA!, he just crouches there staring at my character while the draugr cut him to pieces with swords, you can see the blood splattering everywhere, the swords are definitely making contact with his body.

I got a theory, he is right, he's not smart and it's taking his brain a long time to register he's being killed!

PS. this games AI obviously still has some issues!

He has brain damage. I wish he had that line that the battle-born deucebag says "I ought to bash your face in for what you did" when he is in combat. Without him retaliating of course.

He is completely incompetent as a follower. He is also bugged since his class is set to thief. At level 50 he has base heavy armor skill even though he is the master heavy armor trainer, 25 points in two handed and his default equipment is steel armor and a two handed sword...

He totally [censored] up my [censored] in Dustman's Cairn. I hated having to babysit him so that he didn't Leroy-Jenkins every group of Draugr. What made matters worse was that I did this quest when I was about level 24, and was taking on Draugr Wights and Draugr Scourges. They made short work of Farkas, and left me chugging potions most battles.
