#1. Sterling. That [censored] from 1st Recon with unstealable "La Longue Carabine". I [censored] hate him. No sneak or stealth boy can help me get that [censored] rifle on peaceful terms. The [censored] always wakes up!!!! The [censored] also doesn't go to sleep at nights like other characters which messes up with my waiting time until he goes to sleep in the morning at unpredictable times.

#2. No Bark for being an annoying conspiratorial anti-commie [censored]. I'll gladly cut off his limbs every day of the week.

#3. Jason Bright and the Bright Brotherhood Idiots. I am not openly hostile towards them. But I let their human friend sabotage the rockets. Adding insult to injury, I always hack the terminal to improve the travel trajectory (bwahaha!)

#4. Chief Hanlon. Oh what an [censored].. This idiot made me walk all across the [censored] Mojave because he thought trolling NCR is a fun thing to do. I am so [censored] happy when he sends a .45-70gov bullet through his head.

#5. Powder Gangers. All of them.

I've pickpocketed that rifle quite a few times, save right before you try and and just keep reloading.

Come on guys, why does everyone always hate them, sure they the most openly violent and "mean" group but the NCR and house are just as bad (well hidden but still) as anyone else.

The only person(s) who really irks me the NCR officer who covered the big mess up, and the powder ganagers.

Why all the legion hate? I hate slavers. I hate rapists (I suspect that will be censored, so in PC terms, those who initiate non-consensual intercourse.) Think they should all be raked over hot coals until there is nothing identifiable left of them, and then those twisted remains should be shot into a black hole for final annihilation.

So I hate the Legion. I'll pile their corpses to the sky, scorched and seared by energy weapons fire, shattered and torn by This Machine, and cauterized and perforated by thermic lances. They deserve neither respect nor mercy. Only pain, terror, and death will I hand to them.

well yes they are slavers but they do it mainly because they do not have factories such as the NCR does. (atlest i dont think so) also slaves are reeducated in order to join the legion.
Second I dont see them [censored] that much because i would have seen a [censored] person in there camp

So, you like the NCR but avoid the way they treat people under their "protection"?

In the game the NCR can not even protect the roads, they lack the man power to do anything other then hold what they have.
The NCR troops where openly (in primm) consorting with powder gangers and raiders, corruption runs deep as well as seen by several quests.
They take the land the land/cattle barons want and tax any well to do town for the "protection".


If you do all the NCR quests and listen closely to what the people say and the quests have you doing you will see the NCR is just as bad as the Legion, they are just less up front about it.

The NCR has slavery, and you think the boots on the ground don't (or would not) take the same "spoils of war" as the Legion?

Both sides are equally bad and good, its just the NCR covers up the bad while the legion is just straight up about it, like them or not they don't lie about what they are and what they do.

Just in my personal opinion, if you take the PC out of the game, the NCR would have lost the area anyway.

The legion is not as bad as it seems, but they are not portrayed as fully as I like.

You're right about the NCR, but that doesn't excuse the Legion's behavior.

The people that fight for the NCR are good honest hard working folk, but the people that run the NCR are despicable. I don't take pleasure in killing NCR troops, but I still want to take the bear down. What I do take pleasure in is killing people who make the NCR such a corrupt, inept entity such as Heck Gunderson, Alice McLafferty, Oliver, and Kimball.

But the Legion are just creeps following the King of dorks, Caesar. His laws are stupid, his methods beyond barbaric, I mean seriously who makes their women into slaves and livestock, I don't think even the Taliban does that. The Taliban may supress women and lock them up in cages, but you don't see them making them carry brahmin packs on their backs like the Legion does.
Caesar has no understanding of Rome, it was not a civiliation of shunning technologies and wave tactics.

When did I say I was pro-NCR? I prefer them over the Legion, but not by a great deal. Until they get their heads screwed on straight and stop svcking up to the merchants at the cost of the average citizens, they need a good smacking around.

But no, we won't agree, because I have no tolerance for those things the Legion does as an institution. I told Vulpes that his crimes were unforgivable (not about Nipton, but about everything else, since Nipton was just as guilty as the Legion) and then lit him up with an Incinerator. I also use Incinerators on Cook-Cook. In fact, the moment I spot a slave, out comes the incinerator, and the slaves walk away free, as the last people standing.

This whole thing reminds me about Ashur and the Pitt. (Unless my character is evil)

It's like "yeah, ok, I'm gonna let you enslave all these people because you want to build a city." What Ashur doesn't tell you (which is revealed in the GOTY edition guide book) is that Ashur has plans to invade the capital wasteland with his "army".

Yeah, like I'm gonna let you enslave the entire Pitt + the Capital Wasteland cause you want to restore order. Not gonna happen, yeah I have to kidnap a kid in the process, but honestly she shouldn't be raised up with a parent that is a meglomaniac.

My NCR vs. Legion senses are tingling.

I think the Enclave recruiting House/House knowing about them is a sort of unspoken rule. Either the Enclave actually duped House or the more likely role is House played dumb and pretended he couldn't smell a government conspiracy. I mean come on, Vaults? How often have you seen a government go through such lengths for it's people? Heck, even cold war America didnt do that. i'm sure House smelled a rat.

Sounds to me like you don't want to admit that House may have helped the Enclave; as far as I am concerned it's more than likely that he was a full member before the war and definately aware of everything that they were doing.
