Fav weapon combo?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:39 am

After having all weapons and attachments unlocked I've been testing out every gun and I gotta say, the kross and carb-9 are my favorites, each with the same attachments; Grip, silencer, drum mag and YeoTek red dot. Has anyone else fallen in love with these two like I have? :goodjob:

Agree on the Carb 9. Adjusted irons, duct taped mags, speed sling and silencer. My backup is the Tokmak with rapid fire, silencer, adjusted irons and speed holster.

I can't find myself getting behind ARs in this game like I can SMGs, they are a bit UP.

I think the real problem is that most of the maps are a bit close quarters to really take advantage of AR range. Being able to hip fire accurately in those tight spaces makes a big difference.

I can agree with that, but also the fact they have the slower drum mag reload and have wayyyyy more kick, I can't use them and in shooters, 9 times out of 10 I am ARs all the way.

Burst fire is deadly, just don't spray your load all over the place.

FRKN 3K, Nade launcher, Duct taped Mags, COGA scope. This is for heavy, yet accurate and effect, damage.

Galactic, Sling, Drum mag. This is for a quick back up when I need to reload or I need an automatic weapon. 90 bullets is a lot of lead, and I tend to just spray and pray with this.

AR's also have grenade launchers. Don't underestimate the easily aimable instant explosion. It's only been a day of playing but I already have triple and quadruple kills rolling in. And to think if I played soldier! I'm not a huge fan of the triple burst or single shot AR's; fully automatic is the way to go. Keep it in short bursts or single shot at your discretion. It can act the same as the others but has more flexibility in how you use it. Generally 2-3 shots should kill someone unless they're under the effects of a buff you can't counter.

Galactic is just sixy

I tend to play Medium. Usually engineer, sometimes medic.

I started out using the Rokstedi with a silencer, duct taped mags, and normal iron sights, with an unmodified Ritchie for a sidearm. The combo has served me pretty well, but I've switched to the Sea Eagle for the sidearm.

I just tried the Lobster for the first time and I think it's made of awesome. I'll take the Tampa as my sidearm when I use it, with a muzzle brake, adjusted iron sights, and an extended mag.

Also, I just realised I have sprinting reload, so maybe it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to use duct taped mags on any of my guns. Live and learn. Also, die and learn.

Barnett with muzzle break, red dot OR Carb 9 with duct tape mags, muzzle break, red dot, and grip. Depends on the map. Back up is my Machine pistol which I haven't added attacthments to yet.

Barnett with Scope and Brake
Sea Eagle w/ no attachments

Carb with DT mags, Brake, and Grip
Sea Eagle w/ no attachments

Obviously both for my light right now, haven't tried to find the right med/heavy combos yet although my friend is going with the...

Rhett with Grip, Brake, Drum mag, Dot sight (the really tall, wide open one).
Gerund with the same.

He was quite excited when he found out he could have both as a heavy.

Euston AR: Side vent muzzle break, front grip, drum mags (it needs it), and whatever sight I'm experimenting with.
Sea Eagle: Speed sling, muzzle break, and rapid fire. Absolutely destroys everyone, I love that pistol.

Pistol and grenade. It's the new shock combo.

No, really it would be the SCAR-H aka Rokstedi AR and CARB-9 smg. Yes, medium-weight character.
