Favorite Attack?

Probably doesn't go in Spoilers, but just to be safe..

What do you like to rely on or open up with?

Mine is Great Critical Charge. It feels wild and out of control, and you have to stand back and find your opening.. but when it lands, it's over for the opponent. It's actually kind of original (afaik), the way it plays out. Most charge attacks in game are done by holding a button (or worse, just pressing one).

Especially fun in the outdoors btw.. only prob is there aren't many tough enemy types outside. Giants, briarhearts.. and of course, dragons.

I used to start with a good old shield charge to knock people out of the fight and fling enemies off walls and to their deaths, alas, it no longer works and I've given up hope of that bug being fixed. Shame to because I only got to enjoy shield charging for a couple days. Now I just start off with a good old power slash, and if they're low health, I do a side way power cut for a good chance to behead them.

1) Sneak until noticed or have located all nearby enemies
2) Freeze Time Shout, unsneak
3) Run / Sprint from target to target & power attack

Usually that's a standing power attack for the consistent 25% bonus damage, plus I love decaps. But this seems a good tactic for folks who have Great Critical Charge, since precisely controling your sprinter & timing your attacks is much easier in "bullet time" mode. 90% of the time all I need is one swing to connect, since the base damage (before bonus for sneak, power attack, or critical) is over 250 (Legendary ebony great sword, 5 perks worth of Berserker, 90% worth of "fortify 2 handed damage" enchants). With belly full of venison stew, I can do that once a second for ... effectively forever, since I carry a lot of stew.

Ebony Bow, Exquisite crafting, About 18 Fire damage per shot

Glass Arrow

Lingering poison 14 per second for 10 seconds plus 40 poison damage

Sneak 3x bonus, critical hot probable,

Most things fall over. I can usually get a second un-poisoned shot off before they stop staggering.

Slitting of throat. Simple, effective, deadly.

I only wish Bethesda had made some sneak attack animations for more than just regular humans standing up. Having a cutaway move for someone sitting in a chair, or working at a forge, or for Draugr, Animals, etc., would have been nice.

3. The one where you knock them upside the head with the shield, stab them then pull your sword free by pushing them off with your foot.

Stabbing people in the back of the head with my dagger.

I don't think that's the technical name for it though.
