but in terms of casinos you can gamble in. i choose the Ultra Luxe. idk i just like it.

i kinda wish the casinos had more quests attached to them, and that the bottom floor of the Lucky 38 was open to some high rollers.

Edit- oops i messed up my poll. its fixed now though

Despite the whole willy nilly feel I get in the Ultra-lux I like gambling there the most. Primarily because I like wearing nice clothes when I gamble.

I usually go with The Tops, because 1)They don't take my guns (I hate having to reset my hotkeys every time a leave a casino) and 2) I like the shows.

I like the Tops ever since I "replaced" Benny as the owner. :celebration: Great stage acts, (that I recruited). :intergalactic: Two very nice rooms, The Presidental Suite for entertaining :celebrate: and the room on the 13th floor for when I need to get away to think for abit. B) Lots of action on the gaming floors and in the lounge. :foodndrink: And everyone is so happy and upbeat when they see me. :wavey: "Ring-a-ding Baby".

How do you "replace" him - i'm assuming you just mean you killed him and "pretend" to be in charge, but even so after i kill him all the people say something to the effect "o, not again" in regards to my coming around.

Gomorrah hands down. Just got to remove the Omertas, and the place is perfect.

Most definately the Tops. Love the "Rat Pack" feel of it. The design is nice, and the theatre is always good for a quick visit.

Well of course I kill him and "pretend" to be in charge. LOL As for the reaction you get from the people there, I'm not sure. I only killed Benny and his body guards with a silenced .22 pistol using hollow points, and killed no one else. Also I did a few other quests on the strip to build a positive rep there. Getting all 4 acts to the Tops stage seems to give you and good strip rep.

At Gomorrah they gave me a suit of reinforced combat armor instead of comping a room. The armor is worth more than the money I won from them. That, and they are the "Bender" casino. "I'll start my own theme park, with hokers and blackjack... forget the theme park."

I really like the tops. Second up would be Gomorrah and then maybe the Atomic Wrangler. Ultra Luxe's interior color palette is awful, so I hardly go in there and nobdoy is allowed to go into the Luck 38...so..

I don't gamble all that much. I make my own luck by killing and looting. :P

Gomorrah. I gamble a lot, but keep my luck at 5 now days, because winning 5,000 caps at a time was getting boring. Plus making money in this game isn't exactly difficult.

You forgot the Vicki & Vance Casino, which opens up later in the game if you help out Primm...

Looks and gambling wise, it has to be the Ultra Luxe, even though they are a bunch of uppity snobs.

The Atomic Wrangler deserves an honorable mention though since I tend to do as many side quests as possible before I head into the New Vegas strip, the AW satisfies my gambling fix...

You forgot the Silver Rush, too. (:

I voted for Atomic Wrangler. I'm banned from all the casinos but at least AW still has some entertainment.

Can you actually gamble at V&V later? That'd rock.

My favorite is the Atomic Wrangler because its got that "hard drinkers dive" vibe written all over it. The other places are too swanky for me.

I am a high roller though, in that I gamble big. But now that I've busted out all of their banks, I come back to the Atomic Wrangler for the serious drinking. :)

Spoiler
  • Help Primm, get a Sheriff (whatever option you choose should be fine).
  • Leave the town and wait 3 days in-game.
  • Return to the Vicki and Vance Casino and deal with the NCR deserters/looters though normal or "cowboy" diplomacy.
  • Leave the town and wait another 3 days in-game.
  • Upon your return to the Vicki and Vance Casino, the majority of the tables and slots should be back up and running and a cashier should be present to exchange your chips/caps/currency
