What is yours? Mine personally in the one in windhelm. It's a nice size and has everything the one in solitude has and some more

Breezehome, because it's the most 'homey' and warm, and Proudspire Manor because it's just so fancy.

Windhelm for decorating and showing off gear.

The Riften home otherwise. Great location with a second door on the outside so you can enter it whether your in the city or outside. It also has great storage, isn't too big, has 2 mannequins, alchemy and enchanting tables, and decent display options. It's relatively close to the smith. The back deck is also nice for scenic views of the lake.

Agreed on the Riften house. The only thing I thought it was lacking was storage in the basemant, near the alchemy and enchanting alters.

I kinda like Anise's Cabin, near Riverwood. If it weren't for the respawning containers, I'd live there most of the time as it's off the beaten path.

I kinda like the one in markarth because of the GIANT book case.

The Riften house by itself is my favorite, but if you take location and atmosphere into account, I'd have to go with Breezehome.

Man the riften house sure is popular. It is usually the first house i get for being cheap & fairly easy to get.

Poll! ha. I haven't even bought a house yet. I also have a midas spell that allows me to summon a home, but I have not used it.

Breezeholm has the alchemical satchel right on top of the Alchemy Lab.
Vlindril Hall has 3 bookshelves right next to eachother with 3 shelves each, each shelf holding 18 books for 162 books total.
Proudspire Manor has the little tray thing on the floor right next to the Arcane Enchanter, where I 'throw out' the used soul gem fragments from when I'm enchanting.
Hjerim I have never got around to purchasing, mainly due to not wanting to have any part in the civil war.
Honeyside, beyond the dockside entrance, kinda boring.

Vlindrel Hall, by far. Though not as cozy as Breezehome, or even Honeyside, its location and the setup is what really strikes me as a flavorful settlement. The exterior gives off more of a profile view of the city and the iconic guard tower, so that's points in my book. As for the interior, everything is situated rather neatly: bookcases, separate alchemy and enchanting rooms, a single mannequin for apparel storage, and, of course, the personal living area. Nothing is left out-of-place!

Honey side should be my favorite but the armor display body always move around and it is quite scary. I rate breeze home more just because of that.

Vlindrel hall for me. It's kinda annoying to get to, but I love how the house is in the side of a mountain, and has some instances of Dwemer architecture.

The character I'm playing right now got Hjerim, and right now it's the best house for me, especially if looking for display and storage. Rack galore! Three mannequins! And they don't even move around like creeps!

Second would be Vlindrel. Had it on one character only, but damn is it beautiful. And a lot of storage, too.

I prefer Honeyside, but it's a bit out of the way so I tend to use Breezehome the most...mainly because it is centrally located.

The house in Whiterun. Pretty much the only place I stash all my loot and its right next to a forge so that's convenient as well :) It's also located pretty much in the center of the map so you don't have to travel forever to get there (no I don't use telewarp travel).

Ihave all houses I think windelm is by far the best. It is so well organized.
Riften is pretty good because it costs little and you can get it farily early.
Breezehome, well everyone gets that superearly.
Solitude is by far the worst of all houses IMO. extremely expensive, bad organized and I just don't like it at all. The only cool thing I liked about solitude and wished it was in my windhelm house was the safe.

Riverside Shack
Dispite the gruesome human chunks? Awful vulnerable to cave bears & saber cats.
