Did this on a different forum and would be interesting to see what your favorite phrase or saying is from latin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Latin_phrases:_A to a wikipedia area with an A to Z listing of latin phrases that can be used.
Sometimes I prefer this phrase "damnant quod non intelligunt" which I think loosely translates as "They condemn what they do not understand".
*Note: Hopefully this will stay civil since some latin phrases do have religious sayings*
Pax Per Bellum. Peace through war. I belive in that, its hard to have war when your military is crippled. If 2 groups keep fighting eachother, cripple them both, congrats you have peace.
On the topic of latin anyone have any idea what this means ?

Apparently its what Khan says in metro 2033 "ghosts". I tried translating it, but it didnt work for me, some words arent recognised, others made no sense as a sentance.
