Favorite location In skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:02 pm

My favorite location in skyrim is Skyhaven temple. Something about a abandoned blades temple and mountain tops almost gives me a nerdgasm.

so whats your favorite location. (no trolls please. But ive probably just made it worse)

I gave this a good deep thought and I'm guessing either shrine of Meridia with the beacon that goes up in the sky or labarinthian.

The Thalmor Embassy.
Also, I think Sky Haven temple is pretty cool.

Definently Blackreach. The landscape down there is incredible. Only bad part about it are the Falmer. Besides that, though, it has to be the entire of city of Solitude.

I realy love The Reach, especialy places where I can get high up and see the whole region. The cliff overlooking Dragontooth crater has a realy epic view.
Also, I think Blackreach is amazing. It was one of the fiew places that made me realy go: "whoooaahhh, this is amazing!".

The marsh north of Morthal is very atmospheric and feels like home.

I haven't finished the game yet but Blackreach is fantastic. Even after I cleared the place I wandered around collecting things for a side quest, and it was really fun just roaming around picking flowers. No I'm straight, but it was awesome.

This^. I'm going to build a house in that area when the CK is released, right near an open gold deposit that's on an overlook. There's also a bandit that's always standing on a big log crossing the river in that general vicinity.

Almost anywhere in The Rift. The Rift is my favorite region in all the the Elder Scrolls games. Birch treees, autumnal colors, waterfalls...it's a breathtakingly beautiful area. I would gladly live in The Rift in real life.

The Illusion Mountains

These are not real. But you can see them when the nighttime auroras pass over certain cloud formations. If done on purpose, spiffy job! If not, still spiffy!

The northern shore. I love the fantastic view on mountain tops, I really like the mystical feel of the swamps in the west and the gorgeous southern woods but the northern shore.... so beautiful. The sound of the waves, seagulls, the impressive icebergs, the horizon...simply magical.
