Favorite Ruins?

Share your favorite ruin!

I often find myself standing in the many ruins of Skyrim wondering wha t they looked like in their hayday. Who were the lords of these once mighty keeps and fortresses? Who were the soldiers that stood sentinel in the ruined watchtowers?

My favorite is Falkreath Watchtower. I found myself taking shelter there one night and wondering how many had done the same!

I kind of like Mzinchleft (probably spelled wrong). Lot of variety of enemy types.

Um.. There was this one place South of the Throat of the World Mountain... It's between the smaller mountains and is a path full with many different nordic structures. It is unclearable.

I love going there at high levels because there is a chance for both a Dragon Priest and an Ancient Dragon to spawn at this one point, which means fighting the two hardest enemies in the game. (The Dragon Priest and Dragon are on the same side and I've seen this Dragon Priest attacking Draugrs)

There is a bunch of Draugrs and Skeletons around there too. Very fun place to go to.

Like many people, I'm a big fan of Alftand and Blackreach, the Falmer cave that lays underneath it. Beautiful.
