What is your favorite 2H weapon? The one that just completely destroys all enemies and looks good doing it?

Longhammer. It doesn't plow through enemies, but I love it's speed.

Well ok. Anyways, my fav has to be 2h swords.

Fast. Deadly.

Love looking into my enemy's eyes as I plunge my claymore into his midsection up to the hilt.

Any weapon can destroy all enemies if it's improved enough.
I'm partial to the look of the Ancient Nord Greatsword myself. Current character has used nothing else since finding one in Bleak Falls Barrow (up through level 42).

Ive been the same with the skyforge steel sword - looks better than daedric, ebony, etc

Do diff 2h have diff speeds? Like say a glass greatsword compared to a dwarven one?

I thik they all have the same speed and the weight only affects how much stamina power attacks take...
havent played 2handed characters too much, but my fav weapon and the one my 2hander uses is elven warhammer
I love smashing people up with a golden hammer what can I say...

Material type has no effect on swinging speed. In-game testing has revealed that a 2H sword swings the same speed as a 2H axe, and both of them are slightly faster than a 2H hammer. Please note that the in-game loading tip regarding this is wrong.

I use a mod that lets you improve silver weapons on the grindstone, so my Paladin chick uses a 2H silver sword for maximum baddassery.

Ebony Fire - An ebony greatsword with fire enchantment. It isn't always my best choice (that would be the Staff of Chain Lightning, at least when Annekke isn't in the way), but that's another topic.

Volendrung. It swings at the speed of a Greatsword, which kind of makes sense, considering in previous TES games, Volendrung granted extra strength, which would make it easier/faster to swing. Plus, you can power attack spam with it so long as it has charges. Whenever it runs out of charges, i just switch to Mace of Molag Bal and fill The Black Star, then use it to recharge Volendrung. Whenever i see a heavily armored Bandit Chief, i just laugh and whip out Volendrung, seeing as how my Nord Warrior has 3/3 Skull Crusher. One power attack, and a big chunk of that bastard's health is gone.

My (modded) Dragonbone Greatsword. I waited to craft it until after I had completed the main quest and then I crafted it out of Alduin's scales and bones.

Ebony Blade, suprised it hasn't recieved a mention yet.

Waiting for someone to mod a scabbard for it, and stop it clipping into my character.

My Deadric Greatsword is I think my favorite weapon so far in three characters and 350 odd hours.
