I find that my Destruction, shield and bow work OK as favorites (#s 4,5,7 respectively)
The slashing and bashing weapons (swords and hammers, etc., one-two handed) are the ones that won't stay fixed.
Has anyone come up with a solution. No fun going Tab/Item/Select each time I have to change weapon.
