I'm sure all of you have heard male bandits constantly blabber to themselves about nonsensical things in regards to bastard children, going to college, poker tricks, magic, getting an island, mead and of course paying off their bounties. On the other hand female bandits are completely silent except in scripted situations. Any ideas why?

Because the other bandits are mean to them. All they wanted was to tell the male bandits about how their day went, but they just get ignored and forced to "fetch some more mead, wench." Bandits aren't known for women's rights.

I've thought about that too actually. Sometimes I'll just sit for a few minutes to hear the weird stuff bandits say. I've never heard a thing from a female one My guess is they never recorded generic bandit lines for them. 11/11/11 strikes again.

I wish that Bethesda gave the bandits a lot of dialogue. One of the things I loved about Batman Arkham City was how every thug had something unique to say to each other or themselves each time you hear them talk and they would often chat a lot. Because bandits are cruel, vulgar and mostly uneducated many of the things they say could have possibly been humorous.

Right? And you could hear thugs chatting about recent events, too. Like after you beat Penguin, they all start bugging out about him disappearing, and others are jumping ship to join Two Face. Beth could learn a thing or two from Rocksteady about environmental awareness AI, yeah?

Perhaps the male bandits abducted random women, forced them to become bandits and keep their mouths shut? Sounds about right.

They are uneducated and dont know how to talk. all they know is "aaaahh"

I believe I read around here that most bandits are army deserters from either side. I like to go with that.

They eventually get tired of fetching mead, and so go on a killing rampage.
