Female Companions : Fallout: New Vegas

Well first off, i would like to say, GREAT JOB to the Obsidian. I love this game and i still have 200+ more hours to go.

I am having a minor problem with the companions tho. The male companions work fine, but when i try to give a female companion (Veronica AND Cass) a outfit they do not wear it. The only thing they will wear are helmets/hats.

How can i fix this?

BTW im on PS3

They will only wear things that are:

1) Better than their base equipment
2) Not prohibited faction armor (ie veronica will wear BOS power armor but not legion or NCR armor)

You won't be able to get them to wear most non-armor clothing since the basic outfit they come with has a high DT than almost all other clothing. So no, you can't get them to wear sixy sleep wear or prosttute outfits and no it's not a bug. You could, however, increase the DT on those items in the GECK and then they would equip them.

Are you trying to give them faction based armor? I tried to give Cass some NCR armor but she refused to wear it. She'll wear leather armor or combat armor just fine though.

Like I said- won't wear things that have lower DT than their basic gear (which despite looking like rags actually has a decently high DT so you can't get them to wear clothes). To do this you'd have to use the GECK and up the DT on the clothes you want them to wear.

Alright since i dont have GECK cause im on PS3 do you know of a non-modded armour that is somewhat showy and that she will wear... i tried to give her raider panspike armour... but the DT is to low.

They need to revamp the companion inventory thing. DT should not matter.

They need to make it to were, even if there is 2 armours...

sixy Sleep Wear: DT: 0

Combat Armour: DT: 15

Lets use these as examples.

They need to make it so instead of them automaticly wearing combat armour, they wait for you to select what they wear

Like

* = What there wearing

*sixy Sleep Wear: DT: 0 (Because you selected it)

Combat Armour: DT: 15

Do you get what i mean?

I understand completely what you mean. There are a lot of areas with the companions that could have used some tweaks. I just see it as a little unfair as us PS3 gamers must suffer from the true awesomeness of this game because we do not have mods to do our willing.

Oh well. Still an amazing game :fallout:

If your looking for COMPLETE naked women, then your playing the wrong game...

However if you want a lot of flirting, completely blanked out six scenes, and PARTIALLY naked women, then look no further! Fallout is for you! :fallout:

Nope, they do not, Because they are not faction armor, just helmets....

Faction armor is the actual armor, the helmet is just to make the rest of you look good... :hubbahubba:

Ah, before I read this thread I had a plan to somehow acquire a prosttute's outfit and make Boone wear it - the man is so butch he's camp as christmas, I think he'd look darling. Forgot about DT. Oh well.

No boone works... you see he wears an outfit you can remove... So just remove his outfit then wala you got your weird creepy wishes.
