Female voice.

Alright, I'm a male, and I play a male character...playing a female character just feels absolutely weird. Anyways I noticed early on if I got shot or took damage in battle my guys voice with the grunts or cries of pain sounded downright feminine. I feel it really is a female voice now, sometimes there is a male grunt or cry but I mostly hear very feminine/girly cries or grunts and 4 of my friends seem to have heard the same thing I have while watching me play. Anyone else experiencing this and just playing it down a little? At first I just figured it was my hearing, but now I feel otherwise.

I made a post about this issue this morning. Glad I'm not the only one having this problem. Another thing to pay attention to is the character movements, because they might be the female animations as well as the voice.

... but still no solution to this, eh? I can't seem to get rid of this bug.

LOL this should be a normal option. I'd make at least one chick with a man's voice. haw!

Sounds like this game needs patches.

I'm having a problem like this in a way... I'm playing as a male character then when I went into The Strip male NPCs were talking to me like I was a female, as in calling me "Baby". Although I don't know if its normal or not I found it funny but at the same time very annoying. Also one of the female hokers called me "Gorgeous" which did not seem normal at all. I have not seen this anywhere elce yet and only in that area.

Cross-gender bugs... lol

lol! I just registered now because I wanted to see if it was just me experiencing this problem.

The only thing I can think of thats causing it is that I wanted to see what the female characters looked like so I cycled through them all and then changed to a male character.

My character definately has the female SFX files playing despite being male. Not had any NPC's give an indication of 'it's' gender yet. But I can tell it's female by the grunts it makes when shot... if this is to be a standard feature could you just change the six to fem-bot or something?

I hear the female voice when my character takes damage.

Oh no! I've just noticed it too :( Hope this doesnt lead me to get female dialogue options. I wondered why I had the perk option to have males like me.

if it makes any difference when I made my character I physically clicked on Female then back to male again.

I've noticed this on my "Asian" character but not my African American guy. My black dude's ALL MAN.
