I'm just delving into modding Skyrim, to be more specific, I'm into level designing, and am currently doing the "my 1st dungeon" following beth's wiki sections for noobs since I skipped OB modding. It doesn't cover all yet (or I haven't stumbled upon it yet, but I utterly hate following tutorials so this is a huge improvement for me already
)Few questions-
Water- I ticked water in my interior cell. Apparently that's not enough like in Morrowind since there is no water. Did I miss something, or will I have to use water tile objects?
Light- these settings also seem to be a bit more complicated. I set it all to black but didn't do any fog, figured I'll rely on lights coming otu from "outside" but those lights seem to be out of my vision sight so it's no good. It's pitch black despite the fact that I placed some bigass lights that should enlight the walls of the cave. Alas all black. Also when I pull my torch out the light it emits in this setting shows some horrible stripes al over the illuminated surfaces and looks horrible. Any advices about these settings?
Objects1- I set some beams coming from "outside" like I said above. One I could reach and see however was disappearing while I was moving bellow it. What gives? Could it be because I enlarged it to 10? Cause it still looks ok, and there was no bigger beam. :/
Objects2- I place one of those torch holders on walls. Little did I know that they spawn their own torches when I load it up in-game (albeit they don't emit any light whatsoever so I suppose it needs some global scripting or something but taht's not the point). I wanted to make the place dead-empty, and I was hoping there's a way to set these sconces to be empty in the 1st place and we need to light the place out (cause it's unrealistic to find a tomb that has been empty for who knows how long and fire camps are all still active...or Draugrss' intelligence is growing?
)Thanks in advance, sorry for so much questions!
