A few marriage question about female NPCs...

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 10:10 am

360 here. Possible spoilers I guess, maybe, kinda. I don't really think so, though. If it is, spank me and send me to my room without supper.

Okay, so my boyfriend started playing Skyrim after I started to slow down with it on my fourth character. He's at a point where he wants to get married. I have some questions he's hoping for answers on.

1.) Camille: Wikia states that she will not give the option to live at the player's house, and will only remain at Riverwood. Is this true?
2.) Grelka: Wikia states that she will not actually give you the personal favor quest, nor the option to marry. Is this true?
3.) Sylgja: Doesn't appear to have any problems other than refusing to wear anything besides the mining tunic. Is this true?
4.) Ysolda: I laughed hard reading her profile. Stops cooking after a few meals, apparently has a tree sap addiction, asks if she can have a dropped Mara amulet, and is willing to sell her own wedding ring? Is any of this true?

He wants to know in advance, because he's doing a 'no fast travel' play and doesn't want to waste time riding all over the place finding out the hard way.

Thanks.

Are they the 4 NPCs he wants to marry? I myself married Aela the Huntress, but for some reason I can't find her anywhere. None of my houses, anywhere! However on my current character I'm planning on marrying Ysolda, so once I do that I could come back here and see if I can answer the questions he has about her. But of course, I am sure other members on this site could provide answers for ya for all four.

And yeah, I am on the 360 as well.

1. Not true.
2. Accurate. She has no favor quest at all, and therefore she cannot be married.
3. You can't trade equipment with non-follower spouses, so I don't see why this behavior is specific to her.
4. Wedding ring will not be worn, but she won't sell it. She doesn't have a drug addiction; she deals in Sleeping Tree sap, a drug similar to the sap of the Hist of Black Marsh, or at least somewhat implied to be. Asking for dropped items is common NPC behavior not specific to her. Cooking issue is a bug, though one I've never experienced. I'll look at the result script eventually and see.

Sweet, thank you!
