Few noobie questions about archery.

If someone got some clue

1. Does some bodypart take more damage than other?
2. If you're in long distance should you aim higher? Like if is there somekind gravity.
3. If enemy goes left side should you aim left side of enemy instead enemy?
4. Do you use aim only in long distances? I tend to miss alot with aim close/middle distances compared normal.

1. I don't think so. Maybe the head does a little more damage, but not much.
2. Only at very long distances. The arrow flight is very flat, so normally there's no need.
3. You have to compensate for the speed at which they're walking - so if you fire ahead of them maybe half a second before they walk into your crosshair, you'll hit them, or at least get an idea of when you need to fire next time.
4. Yes. I barely even use it then.

1. Not sure. I would think the head would take the most damage.
2. Yes
3. I would think so
4. It's up to the archer i guess

1. No

2 and 4.
Yes there is Gravity, The Vanilla settings for bows took some getting used to for me though as the Trajectory of the arrow leaves the bow traveling slightly upward compared to the cross-hairs and arcs down to pass through the cross-hairs a set distance away.

This may account for the fact that you are missing at closer ranges, especially if you aim for the head. There is an ini tweak to fix this to a more natural feel though
This video demonstrates the issue

The ini tweak is in the description

3. I take it you mean should you lead your targets, if so then yes arrows don't travel instantaneously.

My understanding is that there is no locational damage in Skyrim.
2. If you're in long distance should you aim higher? Like if is there somekind gravity.
Yes. Gravity does affect the arrows' trajectory. So at long ranges, you will need to compensate. Although I've noticed that the crosshairs are already aimed a little low. The arrow seems to rise above the crosshairs when you fire the arrow.
3. If enemy goes left side should you aim left side of enemy instead enemy?
Arrows do not instantly hit. That means you heed to lead your target if they're moving. Or wait until they stop if you're firing from stealth.
4. Do you use aim only in long distances? I tend to miss alot with aim close/middle distances compared normal.
Yes, I only use it at long ranges. As I stated earlier, the arrow seems to rise when it leaves the bow. At closer ranges, I've actually missed because of it. The arrow hit higher than where I was aiming. Keep that in mind if you haven't noticed it yourself, yet.
