Ok I have no idea how this happened but I fast travelled to Shearpoint (I thought dragons didn't respawn at those places) so when the dragon flew over to me, I pulled out dawnstar and started slashing at it and then it instantly started doing the burning thing that happens when it dies but it was still alive and well. Now I'm fighting a dragon skeleton and I can't even hit it... has anybody else experienced this?

Haha, that's wierd. No I haven't had that kind of situation. But I fought invisible dragon. Thankfully there was a legion archer nearby which hit the dragon few times so I saw the blood textures on the dragon That way I had easier time to fight it. I expirienced this on PS3.

Not complete as a skeleton but certainly partly skeletal as the textures werent on it. I have had this 5 or 6 times now.
Xbox too if this matters.

I did encounter an bone-dragon in a dungeon, but I'm pretty sure that was supposed to happen.

The dragons can now respawn as the Undead! LOL

Ok the dragon killed my horse so I reloaded and tried again, and the same thing happened! I even absorbed its soul! The damn thing should be a pile of lifeless bones now, not a fire breathing skeleton, I'm gonna try it again with my Frosty the Snowman and see if its just Dawnbreaker thats causing it.

Edit: Well I finally killed the dragon but just because I turned the difficulty down and killed it in like 4 seconds flat, but even then it was still burning before it died. I'm thinking it has to do with the fact that I've already been there and killed the dragon that was there
