So I was wondering and haven't had time to test it, do wards or things like SpellBreaker block their fire/frost?
Playing as a Mage with the apprentice stone makes them even harder to fight

Lesser Ward deflects it sometimes. I know as much as that.

It should. My Nord with the elemental protection shield perk doesn't take any noticeable damage from frost attacks from dragons. With some fire resistance, the same can be said for the fire attacks.

They do. Wards and the spellbreaker give you 100% protection against dragon breath attacks at least up to level 40. If you don't run out of magicka and time it right, that is. Spellbreaker is awesome.
