To me, at least if you side with the Legion, he doesn't get a break from anything. After I'm satisfied with the Legions ending, I'm moving on to Solitude to speak with the court about his death and hear their opinions, and while I don't like everything about Ulfric I do still have some respect for him. I do wish Bethesda had found a way to make improvements to Windhelm on some levels as well, like getting the racism to die down regardless of which side you take in the War.. and unfortunately we never see anything happen in the game. Also, with all my conflicting views on the Civil War, I don't know what to think anymore.. although I do still lean toward the Stormcloaks more for my own reasons.
So, with all that Ulfric has been through starting from when he was first captured in The Great War to putting him down in the Imperial Legion.. does anyone feel sorry for him in any way? I know that he's seen as selfish and power hungry from what Dengier, Elisif, Laila Law-Giver and even Empire supporters here on the forums say about him.. but I can't help but feel a little sad for him
