Haven't used steam since installation. After going online there was a Skyrim update. Does this mean I'm patched now?

A Steam update or a Skyrim update?

Steam will ask you to restart the program for the latest version of Steam to be installed. Skyrim should say its downloading an update when you go to your library. It will show you its downloading at a certain speed.

To verify you have the latest version of Skyrim, go into the game, load a save and pause the game. There will be a version number in the lower left side of the pause menu.

That was the plan. My game worked fine and I read all the early patch horror stories. Decided not to patch until the CK came out.
