They don't "support" it. The Thalmor took it. All of it, not half.

No, you should really go read.

The Bosmer lost to the Empire for a reason to, maybe you should also go read that.

I did. The thalmor have all of it. The dominion consists of Valenwood and Summerset Isle. Elsweyr too.

No, you're missing quite a few key points. I'll help you.. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Second_Aldmeri_Dominion

"In http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline#4E_29, sympathizers of the Thalmor in http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Valenwood, the homeland of the http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Bosmer, overthrew the Imperial administration of Valenwood, and joined Valenwood with the Summerset Isles to form the Second Aldmeri Dominion."

I found this from the great war book.

n http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline#4E_29, the government of http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Valenwood was overthrown by Thalmor collaborators and a union with Alinor proclaimed. It appears that Thalmor agents had formed close ties to certain Bosmeri factions even before the http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Oblivion_Crisis. The Empire and its http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Bosmer allies, caught completely off guard, were quickly defeated by the much-better prepared http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Altmer forces that invaded Valenwood on the heels of the coup. Thus was the Aldmeri Dominion reborn.

All I got is that the Thalmor tricked the stupid Bosmer into handing Valenwood to them. That doesn't make them any better, thats worse.

No, the rest of Valenwood was overthrown because the ones who supported the Dominion joined forces with the Thalmor and drove the Imperials and their Bosmer allys out. It's clear some Bosmer share their Ideals, or are getting something out of it.

Exactly. The Thalmor tricked them into joining their side and took their land from the inside. Crafty of them.

Less brainwash, more kill everyone that disagrees.

Imbecile? Lol, nice. Anyway, so what? They still helped them, and now the Thalmor rule over them. Thalmor still took Valenwood.

The ones who supported the Thalmor helped them take Valenwood. There's a bit of a difference there. Besides, I don't even support that side of the conflict, I'm just trying to make you understand the facts. I would be on the side that joined the Empire.

And we know from Delphine that the Thalmor apparently "purge" the Woodelves there. Doesn't sound like a mutual relationship to me. Why do you think the Bosmer in the MQ is helping us? He hates the Thalmor.

I understand the facts. The thalmor still took valenwood. The fact that they had some bosmer on their side doesnt matter. The empire had bosmer on their side too.

That doesn't at all change what I said now does it? I'll reiterate by saying I don't support the Thalmor whatsoever.

They had quite a few bosmer on each side. Difference is, the Empire's side was caught completely off guard. I'd say that's a significant advantage, wouldn't you?

The thalmor probably got the bosmer to sympathize with them by feeding them some crap about mer dominance over men and imperial rule. They also probably neglected to mention they only meant altmer dominance. And the bosmer ate it up like candy, revolted against the empire, joined the aldmeri dominion, and now they have "purges". It may not have been a traditional military takeover, but it was a takeover none the less.

Am I supposed to care? I shouldn't have to reiterate yet again that I'm on the Empire's side. Besides, you don't know what happened exactly. You seem to see things in black and white, so I'm getting quite tired of speaking to you.

In the end, the end of the conflict will be Morrowind, Skyrim, and Hammerfell team up to take on the Thalmor.

End result: The Thalmor and their beloved Dominion die quick and horrid deaths, and the Somerset Isles become a vacation resort for the Dunmer, Nords, and Redguards.

I'm gonna have a beach house with a great view... :D

I think the Empire will also rise up against the Thalmor again, and there WILL be Bosmer fighting for the cause.

You continue to see it in black and white. You don't seem to care about the details of what happened at all. You should do more reading on the subject before you even speak. Valenwood doesn't simply get taken over a lot, and if you read the lore, you'd know that.

I do read the lore, and the circumstances of losing ownership of their land hardly matters.
