Find the Thalmor Assassin

I bet the game designers at Bethesda are rolling on the floor over our Paarthurnax and Blades threads. I hope they put more of it into the next game. It is just awesome how people feel about it.

Not only did I kill Paarthurnax and in the name of justice, but I also killed the Khajiit who supposedly was a Thalmor assassin. The Khajiit was not open for a dialogue, which I considered as unfriendly and so I inspected his pockets and found weapons, poison and a note. I stole the note and it was a contract to kill Malborn just as Malborn had suspected. There was however no crime and no immediate threat visible. I could also have argued to let Malborn deal with the situation himself, because he knew from the start what kind of trouble he will be dealing with. Yet I decided to help him in this one situation and killed the Khajiit.

I wonder how others dealt with this quest. Did you kill the Khajiit or did you let him live?

Malborn willingly became the spy, because his family murdered/killed by Thalmor.

I killed the assassin, and killing Paarthurnax isnt justice.

I killed him, eventhough I'm a thalmor sympathiser.
