Finding Rayda's Remains

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 2:32 pm

So, I have located Rayda's remains, but I cannot get my character to swim to the bottom to pick up the bones. Aside from an underwater breathing spell what the heck is the secret? I have no patience folks. I just want to dive in swim down to her remains and be on my merry friggin way. Spending more than 30 seconds on doing so is not my forte. Thank you.

I might be misunderstanding, but its just a necklace you return to him, not her bones.

Well, assuming PC, you can console TGM and breathe underwater for however long it takes you to get the necklace.

If you have the Illusion Spell "Clairvoyance," it will point you in the direction of the closest selected quest item/location. That's how I found her.

Spoiler
Her bones are underwater about 20 yards East of the Southern bridge into Iversted

EDIT:
Reading comprehension fail.
Hover about the middle of her skeleton and you should get a "Search" prompt

I found her. I just can't swim down to get whatever is left of her--a necklace I presume?!? I have already forgotten about that Quest and have moved on to other things.

It isn't that I don't have the patience, but it is silly, I think, to spend 10, 15, or even 20 minutes trying to dive and swim in the water to retrieve a necklace for an insignificant quest.

Are you using 1st person camera or 3rd person camera? Use 1st.

That's really weird - in mine she was like 20 yards from the bridge in shallow water and the quest marker pointed right to her.

You should be in 1st person, point the camera down and then just go forward, this will make you dive down. If you still can't dive down, go back and walk along the shore for a little way and then just walk out into the water, you should keep walking until you are underwater and swimming, then just turn around and go back to where she is. IIRC you can't actually interact with her skeleton at all, what you are after is an alchemist's satchel next to her.
