Firelance Type "Unique" Item : Fallout: New Vegas

I wanted to know if anybody wanted the return of the Firelance or have another "Firelance-unique" weapon or armor that makes me and others scream like a little schoolgirl and run around the room whenever the stumble across it.
Maybe even a Firelance-unique piece of armor and a Firelance-unique weapon.
People I would love your input on this and make up a possible way to stuble upon them.
when I say "firelance-unique" I am talking about how the only way to get it is randomly stumbling upon it once in a few playthroughs.
Example-I stuck to good ole gunpowder in Fo3.So maybe you will find "The Wanderer" in the Mojave Wasteland no reference to Fo3.and he will have a shiny new piece.
It doesn't have to include aliens!

No, It's an Alien weapon and I don't want anything Alien in New Vegas not even the Alien Blaster. Mothership Zeta has put me off anything alien (space people alien) not even as an easter egg.

the firelance encounter scared the living [censored] out of me! i was fighting 4 damn deathclaws i killed 3 and then right as it attacked me i heard the explosion and i got so scared i dropped the controller and died!

no firelance!

It doesn't have to be alien in origin this time around. It just has to be cool and unique.

I don't understand why fallout fans don't like alien stuff, if there's a reason someone tell me otherwise I like the idea of aliens being incorporated.
Btw mothership Z was stupid, the plot was stupid. Well to be fair there wasn't really a plot so it wasn't stupid.

Why not a new weapon that has the same affect? Perhaps a heatray based energy weapon? Those things were all the rage in 1950's science fiction.

I thought I was on Topic. I said no to the firelance because it's alien. As for Firelance like weapons? Sure why not as long as they are not found on a dead alien or on a space ship or fall from the sky >.<. I don't want it to fire "Alien Power Cells." I want all energy weapon/plasma weapons to use good old man made power cells.

Edit: I also want the Alien Blaster (If it's to be in the game) to return to using power cells again not alien power cells. I want the "Alien" in "Alien Blaster" to be open to interpretation again. Alien can mean Space people or it can mean foren,strange,unknown not of the norm.

As a matter of fact I want a saucer that's landed with some aliens alive so I can get the other alien weapons aswell.
I don't mind them being canon and I don't mind them being in the game (but I don't the place littered with alien technology and aliens themselves).

Just to clarify, what do you mean by "Firelance type unique" - an alien weapon, or a unique that's so utterly luck-based that you'll generally never be able to find it? (I have no opinion on the firelance directly, as I've never seen it in six games.)

I am talking about the Uniqueness of it.I felt it was more proper than saying "Double-Unique" since they already have unique weapons.

I am all for new stuff.
Some of us humans have a propensity to modify things, and sometimes even improve on them.

The tinkered up Plasma Pistol (by humans) in Mothership Zeta is an example of this.
It was a must have as it did twice the damage as the standard issue plasma rifle, even if it was an ammo eater.

Firelance type stuff, by humans this time.

Even if the Alien blaster is a peice of Fallout Lore. (Random encounters)
