In some cases such as pickpockett but for the most part I would just switch gears and concentrate on certain skills.

At first thats what I was going to do I finished most of the main quests and had even switched to another character but then I it became a personnal quest to see just how far I could take one character.

I never set out to do, this until I got my sixth skill to 100 then I thought what if and it started becoming a want more than a need, and once you stop having something to do and just consintrate on a single skill you can figure out ways of doing it. Like conjuration I would send out my Atronach, and then duel wield conjured swords and my conjuration was easy just keep a lot of ulitmate magic potions handy

Isn't the object of every game to win, don't you think Tiber Septim, made it to level 80, 81 with every skill level at 100, before he was called Talos?

No, TES is very much not at all about winning. Hence my statement. It's very much how you play the game, not whether you can beat it or not.

I don't like to think of Tiber Septim in terms of levels and skills, so I won't.

As yes but in my travels I have vanquished many great evils from Skyrim, and through my actions brought Skyrim back from the brink of anarchy and destruction, and vanquished many foes in the doing. I have faithfully served my Jarl’s and proved my worth to every hold time and time again. Yes I have done some things that will need to be reconciled, but I know that I am a true Nord and will be drinking my Mead in Sovenguard, when my time on Skyrim has ended and I will not be ashamed for growing powerful and prosperous in the doing.

What class are you? It seems like you would end up being underpowered if you are fighting extremely high level enemies but can't get any skill past 100

I am a tank (warrior) who using magic and can sneak. With the soft level cap once you get past level 50 enemies start to become less and less of an issue, i would suggest taking the game to a more difficult level if you are looking for a challange especially once you get past 65

Got to level 60 after 159 hours. You must have been playing a looong time. And if you used trainers then I see no problem with that. Or you are deliberately challenging yourself. Or is punishing more like it?

I was using trainers at first Light Armor, Pickpocket that kind of thing but as I started to run out of quests and I started just concentrating on one skill at a time, I would sneak around towns until I got it up to a certain level and than I would go into bandit caves and sneak and pickpocket

You level so fast in this game, personally I think that's an achievement purely for getting all that done in the time you've been playing.
