So I am a gay Imperial marksman mage and I married Ysolda and keep her in my house in Whiterun.

Everything was going fine until I meet this guy in a tavern in Winterhold and he challenges me to a drinking contest. Next thing I know I wake up in the temple of Dibella in Markarth. Bad hangover I suppose, but the guy (Sam) is missing and I have a new quest to find out what happened last night. I leave Markarth as quick as I can because the guards there are still peeved at me for escaping jail, and I make my way back home. Ysolda is waiting for me at the door and boy is she POed. She rips into me about some ring I must have lost and I owe her 2000 gold for (I don't wear the danged wedding ring anyway) and then goes off about how she thought we were a couple and I was out partying with my new fiance like I was cheating on her or something. (The dialog got a little confusing here because of the same gender issue), but I got the message she was not happy. I thought she was breaking up and leaving me. The good part is she gave me a clue about where to retrace my drunken steps and went back to being the girl who used to say "Its a fine day with you around!"

Just wanted to share. The game was so real life... Coming home and finding a woman mad as heck and not knowing why.

This really, really irritated me when it happened. Killed the immersion totally.

FYI that same exchange happens whether you are married to her or not. I was not married to her and at the same point in that quest we had the exact same conversation in the Whiterun marketplace.

And just remember, a woman can hold on to that anger for a long time. Years from now when your an old and grey, remebering the glory days of your dragon hunting, she'll bring it up again and again.

Ahhh marriage.

I just wanna say...You're gonna wanna see "A Night to Remember" though to the bitter end. It's not only hilarious, but the rewards are...useful.

Honestly with the dragged about RADIANT AI that Bethesda talked about why (if you were married to Ysolda) did this quest not switch to use someone else. That should have been obvious!
