Hi guys,

Tolfdir of the College of Winterhold should cast a fireball when I am standing in the circle, and I should block this with the Lesser Ward spell. I equip it and can cast it, but Tolfdir wont cast his fireball. What can I do? I am a pc user.

you have to cast the ward spell for him to fire... answer is in your question, actually... he says "now cast the ward and keep it up, I don't want you getting hurt."

no ward = no spell = no progress forward.

it's really frustrating if you don't have a lot of magicka because it's a close call.
