This coming from someone who was never exposed to it in youth, who grew up in the Van Halen / Def Leppard era and who regarded most music like this as belonging to history - certainly not modern video games. Yet here I am enjoying tunes from 25 years before I was born, and looking forward to hearing them again. Somehow it just didn't take this way with Fallout3 - perhaps its the music selection or perhaps I'm just getting old. Either way, I find it a profound affect - something that I never expected from the experience of a video game.
Did it change you at all? Or am I just a certifiable nut job that shouldn't be making threads?
