First Skyrim DLC to be released on XBOX 30 days before PSPC?

According to this article the first DLC for Skyrim will be available to XBOX users a full 30 days before anyone else. I play PC, and we have mods, so I'm not too upset personally - but if this is just marketing I'd be pretty pissed off if I bought the game for PS.

Microsoft always did that.. They pay them to have DLC's earlier, the same thing happens with Call of Duty and other games like this.

In the end, everyone is going to be able to buy the DLC.. so i don't care.. ^^

I just hope that this thread don't start a flame war between Ps3 and Xbox360 or Xbox360 and PC..

Oh it will. Before it starts I'd like to chime in that we're all gamers. Platform doesn't matter.

This usually happens on multiplatform games, the consoles are the first to recieve patches/DLCs. I think this is a good thing though, the consoles are essentially guinea pigs to test out any glitches/bugs first and let the PC players prepare beforehand.

That's ok, it just means we'll test out all the bugs so the game will be nice and smooth for you guys.

It's only fair. PC users get to iron out all the patch bugs for them now, after all. :flamethrower:

Agreed.. but it seems that someone already started the war...

Really, why people do this ? They act like 5 years old kids... --'

It's inevitable on the internet. Personally, if I had the disposable income I'd have all 3 consoles and a good computer, all for gaming. But, I suppose some people just get caught up in brand loyalty a bit too much. Meh.

PC users would probably just want to hack and mod everything away which would make a more fun game but that aside I'd assume the PS3 would have the most bugs and junk. It's funny but it doesn't even mention what the DLC is called let alone what we could expect.

"When the last dragon has been slayed and the last book opened, Xbox LIVE will be your destination for exclusive access to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim add-on content. 30 days before you find it anywhere else, the first two content drops for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be available exclusively on Xbox LIVE." So what the hell does that mean dragons will always keep spawning they never run out and books...well I always collect those.

Xbox360 is known for releasing DLC early, PS3 is known for releasing exclusive and refined content. Steam gets it when it gets it, and I can wait for the PC versions to come out, as I am still enjoying the rest of the massive game.
I own an xbox and a wii as well, and I'm about to sell my xbox...if I can get a half decent price for it. The 360 breaks on me way too easily. spent a couple hundred fine tuning it, repairing the disk tray, and more because of a red ring.
That said, it's nice to know that we can all appreciate Skyrim regardless of our platforms.

Pretty sure PC's leveler is a construction set, mods, and more/earlier patches

You mean I'll have to wait for a very linear quest with some op reward for 30 days longer? Oh if only I bought the game for my sons xbox instead of my 3d vision gaming computer. :sadvaultboy:

30 days is nothing. Sure, I'd LIKE to get it at the same time, but I wouldn't even buy a Skyrim pack yet, because I have loads of gameplay left to do without it.
