Honestly, this is my second play-through, I'm now on hardcoe, and i have been searching for about 40 minutes, lol
Looked just about everywhere from Goodsprings to Novac, I know I had some earlier but sold them, not knowing i needed them to reprogram Slim

Head to the REPCOMM facility west of Novac. You'll find tons of them.

I forget the building name, but its the Come Fly with Me quest line. Whatever building that is has a room in the basemant with about 20 of them, pretty sure you have to either lock pick or hack a terminal though

I was looking for sensor modules to fix ED-E and found two fission batteries in Victor's house in Goodsprings on the shelf.

Spoiler
Don't worry, it isn't stealing, and it isn't really Victor's house ;)

Does anyone one know where I can find a 2ed sensor module in the early game to fix ED-E? I know only of one in a trailer in Goodsprings that isn't a random inventory spawn.

Look around Doc Mitchell's house. He has a ton of crafting items there.

They're in like every workshop area in the game, they're found on workshelves, metal boxes, and toolboxes, just like FO3.

Pretty sure that Victor's shack in Goodsprings had at least one.

The Lone Wolf Radio trailer just south of Goodsprings.

Lonewolf also has enough parts to repair ED-E in it without going anywhere else.
