well besides from the obvious fps drop and game crashing there are some things i like to point out

1. when i went to a casino and was asked to give up my weapons my companion had to lose his too it would seem...all fine until when i left the casino and got my weapons back i notice i was giving his "boon" gun so i did what anyone else would have done
i tried to give it back to him.... well that didnt work since when i opened up the trade it would not show in my inventory.. so what i did next was i tried to send him back to Lucky 38 to see if that might give him back his gun... well nope it seemed he never went back so im guessing it might be a glitch

2. the quest Heartache by the numbers... all was going well till i had to go and chat with Cass again to get her to part with her title ... not sure if this was a bug since i found out she was a companion and if i need to talk to her when i have no one with me as a companion atm but at least make it clear on how to move on with the quest.... its when i try to talk to her theres no dialogue for the quest just the same options as when you start talking to her for the first time

3. when Vats says theres a 95% chance to hitting them makes sure its REALLY 95% and not 0% since i shot the guy with a 95% rating and still missed 4 times in a row come on there was a 5% chance i would have missed lol

4. the sound at times does not go off at the right times... like when i jump and land i get the sound about 3 secs after i did so

5. fire the testing team since they failed HARD this time around.... they did pretty bad on fallout 3 but they REALLY dropped the ball here

well thats all i can think of right from the top of my head

also like to say this... it is a good game story and money is worth it.... but really how can you release a product in such a crappy state
and also start working on the 2nd patch since i have a feeling the first one wont do anything... just a gut feeling

FIX TO BOONS GUN: Go and talk to him and tell him you want to change his tactics to a ranged weapon, his gun appears on his back and he is good to go again. Try that see if it works! I think this works because when you get all your weapons taken away at the casino, when they give them back they are not equiped to you. I am thinking the same goes for your companions, so the way I see this fix working is that it just re-equips his gun.

nope i tried that right after i tried to trade it with him... i tried everything i could think of.. and sending him back to the lucky 38 " he still never came back btw" was my last resort

now cass is missing her gun..... awesome...
