Hello - im from over at Rage forums and i decided to post in the most crowded place.


The forums keep logging off randomly: minutes , a few minutes , an hour , it's getting ANNOYING. Fix this freaking [censored] already - im typing posts and i can't hit post since it' logged off in the middle.

The remember button ofcourse is always turned on. Make it a quick fix so it's 24 hours logged on automatically - that should be enough.


This is not a webmaster that doesn't notice these kinds of things for months. NO SURPRISE the brink database got hacked so easily - blame your self.

Yeah never experienced such things, I'm sure it's annoying but consider that this is a free enterprise your currently involved in do you want to ask a little more nicely?

Let's move this over to the most appropriate forum instead.

This problem affects people to different degrees: most hardly ever have a problem, or only have problems infrequently - an unlucky few encounter this quite often. The system admin are certainly aware of it, and while it has improved with each subsequent fix it hasn't gone away. A few people have said they've encountered this on other large IPB forums, although apparently other large IPB forums are unaffected.

I have this problem too. I thought it did this to everyone. Extremely annoying. Oddly enough, if I don't log back in, I'll eventually get randomly logged back in, just like I got logged out.

I use firefox though im not on my computer it's happengin there too - it's FF5 and still happens - currently FF 3.5 and it's the same thing as always.

Same problem, sometimes I refresh and I'm not logged, then I'm logged again but more often than not I relog by hand. A couple times relogging plain failed and it was because I was already logged back :/
