So I had a bugged Breezehome which did not let me replace the shield and two swords in the bedroom above the bed and would not let me store weapons in the weapon rack in the kitchen.

So imagine my gladness when it was 'fixed' in the last update which I only downloaded this weekend.

Firstly, I still couldn't replace the shield and two swords in the bedroom but I COULD now store weapons in the kitchen weapon rack.

So I placed two Ebony war axes in the kitchen and put an Ebony greatsword in the single slot weapon holder in the upstairs landing/hallway.

Then I semi-gleefully went off on a quest.

Here's where the epic fail comes in. When I returned much later, the weapon rack in the kitchen was empty and the two Ebony war axes were missing from the rack and now in a random chest of drawers.

Secondly , the weapon place holder shield thing in the upstairs landing/hallway now does the same as well whereas it used to be fine!!! So my displayed Ebony greatsword was in a random drawer too!

Anyone else experienced this abomination of the definition of the word 'fixed'?

That's weird, I've never had problems with these weapon racks. Are you PC or console?

This is on the 360.

I never used to have a problem with the one on the upstairs landing.

Perhaps my save game data is knackered or something because no-one else seems to moan about this.

It's really irritating.

Breezehome causes problems for me also (360) when I owned it. Particular weapons always ended up on the floor every time I came back, and one of the Ebony Axes I placed there was untouchable after coming back from adventuring (and avoiding arrows to the knee).

My Wuuthrad and Staff of Magnus are still how I left them in the weapon rack. Hopefully they stay that way. (xbox 360)

I'm on PC and haven't had any problems with these weapon racks, the only problem worth mentioning is sometimes battle axes end up sideways in weapon racks. It does mention on Wiki that the plaques can suffer from the problems you mentioned.

I had the sideways axe issue on a previous playthrough. At the time I wrongly assumed that it was just the way it stored the larger weapons.

It was the same time I came out of the front door of Breezehome to find the floor outside had been replaced by a blue hole of death.

It was freakish.
