So fixing a broken quest means no more Achievements?

So I got the BOS bug where the two leaders tell me to wait...

and wait...

and wait...

and wait...

So I look it up on the wikia and it turns out its bugged for good and I have to use the console to fix it, but that if I do, I'll no longer get any Achievements. I'm not a huge fan of Achievements anyway, but I think its pretty lame that if you use the console to fix a game breaking bug that you get penalized.

Just Saying.

No, no no. Using the console doesn't disable achievements permanently. All you have to do is save the game, exit the game completely, and then reload. Boom. Achievements are back on.

All the console does is disable them for the session.
