Do flowers regrow and if they do, how long?

On the subject of regrow ... what about ninroot? What about the ninroot farm?

Yes, they regrow. So does nirnroot. Crimson nirnroot does not afaik.

I'm not sure on the respawn time. It might be thirty days but I've never tested it.

Some potted plants appear not to regrow. The garden in Honeyside is as bare as the day I stripped it for alchemy, some 30 levels later. :/

Pickable items regrow. Crimson Nirnroot (actually, Blackreach) takes 10 days to reset, and potted plants (not planted plants in farms) do not regrow

The flowers used to regrow, then there was an update that killed them... don't know if they've fixed the new glitch yet either. The reason I'm so positive was a fluke. In Solitude in front of the Bard's College there is a row of flowers. I was picking my way along up to the college and decided to pick those when I came out. While I was in the college, I had to quit the game for a bit.

While I was out of the game, I got a message that Skyrim had been updated. When I went back into the game and came out of the college all the flowers were gone! Where flowers had been everywhere when I entered the college, now there were none anywhere in the town. I checked all the other towns I'd visited, and the roads around them, but all the flowers had vanished from the landscape everywhere I'd ever picked them once.

I restarted with a new character and, in some towns, the flowers were still gone. After starting yet another new character, at last the flowers were back, but I don't pick them anymore, as the game is stark enough with them there to really look depressing to me with the flowers all gone.

Maybe they've fixed that glitch since, but I'll never know, since I no longer pick flowers anywhere I plan to go often, sticking to those I find in the wilderness off the main roads.

O_O When you get the quest for that Black-Briar girl, that makes you get 20 nirnroot, she says that nirnroot doesn't regrow...

Thee plants whee you are picking the flowers off our just harvesting a portion of regrow. Nirnroot spawns replacements in other places

They do regrow, but you have to spend 30 days outside of Riften (and maybe Honeyside as well, I avoided both just to see if they regrow). It might not include your house, that would explain the exterior entrance to it.

It's been a long time since I picked the ninroot farm crop. I'll go check and see what's there.

Nirnroot does regrow in certain places, but it's actually not suppose to, and there's a big bug which causes save bloat and CTD concerning respawning Nirnroots (ones outside the farm).

I must have picked all the ninroot plants but one on my first visit there, because there in the field now was one big ninroot plant and the rest small ninroot plants.

Ingun BB, if you notice her carefully, has a condition. You ever hear Elgrim's wife saying the girl is "odd"? I never stay around to hear the whole conversion, but she says Nirnroots don't regrow, and they do. She says she restocks in Ingun's Alchemy Chest every 2-3 Days, and she never does. She also says she "will make her mother proud", and she doesn't.

I just picked the nightshade by the thieves guild. Now I'll see how long it takes to regrow.

But another question comes to mind. Do all flowers regrow with the same waiting period?

I would swear that the Deathbell in the pots at Blue Palace re-grew after I picked them. No clue as to how long though but I really thought they did.

I picked all the Nightshade flowers except one at the Theives Guild entrance. All the flowers have now regrown. Seems like it only took a few days. Faster than I thought they would.

It's not the nirnroots respawning that's the problem. Every time you enter an area with nirnroots, it reapplies the glow until it's picked. You could have 10-15 layers of glow on a single plant, and picking it only removes the latest one.

That damn farm can be almost painful to look at.

These were taken after picking the plants. There's been a couple threads on it already; hopefully Bethesda's noticed. I'm sure the Unofficial Patch people have.
