FNV and FO3 : Fallout: New Vegas

So I am pondering whether I should get FO3 for my PC. I have played it before and beat the game and everything, but never did much of the DLC. So right now I am pondering whether I should get it. Will having FNV and FO3 on my computer slow it down at a noticeable rate? Do you think I should get it even though I have played it before? I kind of enjoy the Metropolis scenery of the game, and would enjoy playing it again but whatever. The real question is whether it will slow me down.

Having files on your computer slows it down? So if I replace all my HDs with one 200MB one, it should go faster then!
