FNV DLC addition to OWB

Ok hear me out. So I just had a thought, what if in the next DLC they added a trait or perk that enhanced the effects of chems but added a slightly higher chance of becoming addicted and added, wait for it, HALLUCINATIONS!!!! :ahhh: Basically if you take too many chems you could be fighting a deathclaw and all of a sudden you start seeing ghouls dressed as clowns attacking you. The effects would be random and will happen the more you take a certain drug, say you take med x at least 3 times in a fight, then the chance to hallucinate would be 20%. Hallucinations could vary from walking to combat and such and even in between. One deathclaw might turn pitch black with read eyes another could wear a party hat in the hallucination. A ghoul could look to have a yao guai head and cazadors could look like white doves. Walking along while hallucinating could cause the road to look rainbow colored or disappear and make it seem like your floating. The effects would last as long as the drug is in your system, and the effects could also vary depeding on the type of drug. Someone addicted to psycho could see headless ghouls attacking them while someone addicted to hydra could see giant sized enemies even though they would be normal sized and do the same amount of damage.

It would be completely optional and something to add a bit of fun to addiction if fallout new vegas.

It would be funny for awhile at first, but I think it would get annoying soon after the fun wore off. It'd be one of those things you'd do once in a game and then never bother with it again. But concidering they can't even do random encounters with this aging gamebro system, I'd doubt random hallucination effect would work either.

That would be a nice touch, but not random hallucinations. Hallucinations spawn from your actual environment. A black wall won't explode into color if you're hallucinating, a black wall with red accents could explode into a big red, orange, black and brown swirl of colors because your mind distorts the surrounding colors. I think it'd be nice, but with the Wild Wasteland perk, people might get tired of seeing a rainbow cazadore or a cuddly deathclaw after a while. This is how I think it should go.

Wild Wasteland adds crazy hallucinations.

Normal gameplay adds 'normal' hallucinations.

When I say 'normal' hallucinations I mean things like seeing more than one enemy, or having your focus fall in and out. Wild Wasteland would do this, and add the crazier things. With these add on's to it, it sounds pretty cool. Hey, maybe someone will figure out a mod for it. :3
