focus the oculory : V

can somone tell me on the pc version when ive fitted the crystal are the three mirrors suppose to light up, on a video on utube they do but on my game they dont

There should be a couple of spell books lying around. You have to use those spells to heat and cool the middle lens to line up with the outer rings. And then use the buttons to rotate the lens on those rings.

that does not answer my question, on all the videos i have seen there is a ray of light coming down from the central ceiling when you first enter the oculory and when u fit the crystal the three central mirrors light up, u then use flame and frost on the mirrors

if i remember right once you activate it the light is meant to come in from the center, bounce off the focusing crystal and toward the dome, then you position the mirrors on the dome and use heat/frost on the crystal itself to focus the beams onto to the mirrors on the dome

Bugs

Some video card and driver combinations don't draw the light rays in the Oculory, causing the quest to be nearly impossible to complete. This problem can be solved be updating your video card driver. To complete the quest without being able to see the light beams, first move the green mirrors on the ceiling into their correct positions first - press the middle button 6 times (so the mirror moves 6 positions), the left one 1 time, and the right one 5 times. Then strike the crystal with several short bursts of frost ... this has to be only the novice level attacks ... E.g. It has to be 'Frostbite' or 'Flames' ... a higher destruction spell will not work as it does not focus the lenses. then Paratus begins talking and the quest updates.
