follower castle : V

Does anybody else want a castle add on? It should have lots of mounts and manakins. You should be able to get all of your followers to live there and include a stable for horses and dogs. Also you should enter a siege mode that would be similiar to the civil war quests except that you would be defending your castle with a bunch of nameless npcs like imps or something.

But yeah, Dawnguard might have something a bit like this, and it's a good idea.

Oblivion had this, but there was no quest line.

Apart from having to kill like 3 guys outside - then the castle owner said something along the lines of "that's amazing! actually, I'm about to die, so why don't you just have my castle? here's the key."

I liked having the castle, just would appreciate more in the way of associated quests.

dawnguard is supposed to have customizable forts (2 of em iirc) I'd imagine there is one per faction (vamps and dawnguard) but that is just speculation, also there was not note of how customizable they were, just that they are... take that as you will
