Follower Leveling Fixed in 1.6?

While not mentioned in the patch notes, it seems that follower's stats have been fixed and they level up with the player.

After hitting lvl 40 in my most recent game, I noticed something odd- Lydia, my follower since about lvl 5 or so, was tanking pretty much everything that came at her. Prior to 1.6, strong enemies would down her very quickly, prompting me to pull out the Wabbajack to keep her viable as a follower. I haven't even done the quest for the Wabbajack in this game, and yet her damage output and durability are surprisingly high.

I Oghma glitched an earlier lvl 15 save file up to lvl 47, saving both files. At lvl 15, I took her out pretty easily with a bound sword. At lvl 47? She kicked my ass with the same equipment. On the legit lvl 40 file, it took 5 perk boosted incinerates (105 damage with Aspect of Terror) to take her out. Mjoll and Jenassa, on different save files, showed the same results- much higher durability and damage output than expected. Again, no Wabbajack involved.

If they did fix this, then Mjoll is probably the best follower in the game. 100 heavy armor, 100 two-handed, and still essential? Pretty much the ultimate meat-shield

Yes, I would like a answer to this. Perhaps a PC user will see this thread and post a comment? They can console command to check to see if followers level up when they themselves level up. Mjoll Lioness is my favorite follower. I waited to level 31 to get her.

Awesome! Do you know if we have to start a new game for this to take effect? Hopefully we dont have to create a new character for followers to be fixed.

Mjoll is still essential.

I just got level 81, with no ogrima whatever glitch thing. I was stalled at 72 pre 1.6, because there were so many system lockup
locations.

Mjoll seems to be going to one knee a lot less, but it could be my imagination. I had her in double enchanted legendary daedric, but was
bored with that and have her in double enchanted legendary heavy dragon plate now. She wields a legendary double enchanted (HP svck, Stamina svck)
greatsword two hand, though she still goes to the default bow more than I'd like.

I wish there was a way to tell her level and such on the xbox 360. I know she is no where near as awesome as my evidently level 34, forsworn ravager dead thrall lady who dual wields a daedric sword and daedric axe; She messes stuff up, hardcoe. This is playing on master too. She tends to use a bow too much also, though, but at least with her its a legendary daedric one.

Is there a program that will let you check a skyrim savegame file, off of the Xbox 360, on your PC? (without having the game on your
PC?)
