Anyone know which follower or companion will wear the jester armor or cicero armor?

if you let him live, he would, lol. improve it to be better then base armor and they will wear it. i have lydia and she rocks out light armor all the time cuz i improve it

I tried upgrading it but it wont show up. Is there a clean jester armor i can buy from?

I obtained mine from dawnstar sanctuary and from cicero.

Do you have the Arcane Blacksmith perk?

Yes i do have it

Weird, either you can't upgrade it, or there's something else you have to do. I'll see what I can dig up

cicero is cloth not light armor. so it cannot be upgraded. there would be no way to have a follower use it other then redoing the db and letting cicero live

when you are on the mission to hunt Cicero down in Dawnstar there's an extra set of his costume on a table. It isn't "clean" since it already has enchantments on it. I can't wait for this dang Creation Kit! I want to get clean nightingale armor and jester clothes..

Also, if you finish the DB chain... then fully upgrade the Dawnstar Sanctuary, there will be Dark Brotherhood Initiates who have similar skill sets to Cicero. Just "order" them to follow you at that point.

ok I got my companion to wear the cicero's armor. it requires a pc and you can either use the force equip command or what i did was

open console, click on companion and type
"setav heavyarmor -1000" NOW this gives them a negative armor rating unless they wear light or cloth
alternatively you could just use forceequip but I find that buggy sometimes when you want to change items
