So recently I noticed that when you get a Follower, they are absolutely terrible at walking down anything past 10 degrees of an angle. Any slight dip, and they automatically run away from the scary 1-foot ledge. Can anything be done about this, bethesda? It really is annoying, and that is the reason I rarely get followers.

They are certainly terribel mountain climbers.

But worry not, just keep going and they WILL catch up to you in the end.

On pc you could try using the console and typing "tcl" with them selected. This does mean they can start walking 12 feet in the air or vanish entirely into the ground but they suddenly lose the fear of heights and walk in a straight line for a change. Fun to watch also.
