FOMOD installing unselected options anyway : Fallout 3

I have a FOMM install xml file that gives me various options about which esp's to install. However, it still puts the unselected ones in the Data folder. These unwanted esp's are unselected in the FOMM load order. So it's not a big problem and I can always manually move the unwanted files to stop them cluttering up the Data folder but it's a bit laborious. Is there any way to tell FOMM to just not install the files if they're unselected?
