I have Xbox and it's tedious when I have what I want my character to be set in my mind and don't have the time to level up and do the MQ all over again. Plus mods would be amazing

Take a look on http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/index.php and see what kind of mods are offered.
But tbh, if you're one of those players that keeps chasing quests just to complete them i think you'll get bored/annoyed having to do it all again.
If you're one of those that just wants to faff about and does quests if they happen to be in the area you're faffing i'd say go for it

Just the fact it doesn't take an hour to load a new region is reason enough for me.
That was sarcasm of course but really a 3 second load on PC takes like 30 on Xbox.

The difference from sbox to PC isn't major, pretty much the same game out of the box. However compare my version of Skyrim with out of the box version console players use and we are speaking a game that has changed a lot thaks to mods. The whole way perk trees are built up is changed, more perks, more specialization, harder enemies, better graphics, HD textures everywhere, different weapons, different armors, cariations of dragons and tactics needed to kill them. Vanilla Skyrim isn't bad, a fully modded Skyrim is however that much better as it fixes a lot of the minor issues I had with the game originally.

You can Mod & Tweak Skyrim on PC. So you can go to such lengths which may make it feel like a different experience.

I had it on PS3, and just recently got it for PC instead and yeah, just the short loading times are worth it imo. Then ofc, mods are really sweet as well. I'd say go for it, but I haven't tried the X360 version though.

Absolutely! The mods will expand the game for you, and you will really enjoy it. I would give anything to be playing on PC again, but unfortunately can not buy a suitable one. If I were you, I would definitely buy the game for PC.

I've both versions and i can say that it is wort it,especially if you like modding your game like others have said.

However, the graphics itself is acceptable for the Xbox360 standards,so don't expect miracles in this regard,it depends from your pc hardware of course.

Look, i have the PS3...but i did investigate and i think it will be nice to buy it...first of all, the gameplay on PC its much better, like using a bow...did u try to shoot a dragon with a bow when he is flying...well i did kill about 15 dragons, but i have to say that killing them with a mouse wold be much easyer.

And this is not olny with the bow, when u have an assasing with daggers at you back, its dificoult when ur using a 2 handed sword to get them fast, and they do a lot of dmg if ur not quickly.

Other point is that the PS3 version has a lot of problems, bugs and glitches, and the PC version is much faster updated coz its easyer.

and ofcourse, there are the mods, im not into mods, but there are people that like them, so yes, the PC version has a lot of things that make it worth the money....i just dont have it coz i dont have te Computer for it hahaha....but u will enjoy it....im sure!

Sorry for the english.
Hope i helped.

As a furry, I am most impressed with your profile picture.

And yes, the PC version changes the experience completely, but it is way too easy to completely cheat the entire quests and game by using console commands.

If you can afford a high-quality PC (that is, a PC made specifically for gaming. The staff at the shop can help, or if you're buying online, the people on the hardware forum here are the ones to talk to) then definitely PC. But if you can't afford it, then a console is just as good, you just can't mod.

I think it is possible to convert an XBox savefile to a PC one. Someone in the forum did that to fix his XBox savegame. So you could convert your XBox savefile, continue playing on the PC and even use the console commands to fix your broken quests, without starting all over.

EDIT:
her is the link on the topic of converting savegames:

Definitely worth it. I recommend getting "Live another life. Alternative beginning", "Imp's more complex needs" (must sleep, drink, eat), and "Chesko's frostfall" (cold areas will cool the character down, leading eventually to death if you don't light campfires). Plenty of balance mods as well out there.

Hush, lest we be discovered!

Thanks though, I'm quite fond of my Khajiit, she's puuuurty. -shot-

I've used console commands and it's not ruined my game yet, though I have a lot of restraint.
I only do it when I'm stuck in a bind or if the game bugs out.

Play and enjoy "Skyrim" on the Xbox 360.

By the time you get bored of it you can grab it for PC dirt cheap and will have a bus-load of MODs to play with.

I'd wait a few months for a summer sale on Steam. But yeah, mods make PC version really worth it.
