As a console player, there are so many mods and perks you see for playing the PC version, and it feels like we've been handed the short end of the stick. Personally, many of the mods aren't that amazing that i would be forced to get a decent PC, but there are some that I feel Bethesda should add in the future expansions. Is it possible that Bethesda will incorporate some of the better graphics, retexture, and HD mods in future updates/DLC/expansions for us console users? For example, some of the things i would die for are the water re texture mods that make the water twice as realistic. Another would be the nature mods that make everything more detailed. Even the face mods that remove blocky textures would be a great add.

Is there even a small chance of them adding these in? Is it even possible?

The good news is that Bethesda has announced a console version of the creation kit and a utility for user made mods. It will come bundled with DLC around the first of April.

Wait, is this for real???

Do you have any idea how it would work? I'm assuming a place in the marketplace to download the mods.

If this is true, then playing on the console would be so much more reasonable..!

This was evident before the release of the game...

I'm gonna call fake until he posts the source of his info. Otherwise, obvious troll is obvious.

Unsuccessful troll is unsuccessful. Anyway Jnicholass, if anything, HD retextures are the only mods that wouldn't work on the consoles.

Improve on graphics/HD TP: No, impossible game is already on its maximum potential that can be squeezed out of the 7 year old tech this includes better looking water.

Nature mods: sounds certainly can be improved upon Oblivion had them but BGS forgot to "flip" the switch for anyone to notice them without modding.

UI in general: It can be done, but why the UI is as bad as it is in the first place is questionable if your looking for smaller/list type UI such as SkyUI has it wouldn't go to well unlike PC, console means playing on a TV 5-6ft away vs 1ft so the large font is needed. But if you mean getting rid of the "modern" look of the UI in a Skyrim setting (again questionable why they put such in the game to begin with) its certainly possible.

Also for that one guy who is spewing out of his mouth about april and mods coming to it get out of here. The only thing BGS has stated about DLC or future updates to the game is that possibly a few things from the Skyrim Jam will be added into the game. Other then that there is no information about DLC/future content for Skyrim.

Let's keep the 4 chan memes where they belong...in the ashcan of internet history.
Meanwhile, there are FIVE of these threads active on page one of the forum right now. I'm going to continue providing OP's with the answers they want until people can learn to search the forums or at least scan PAGE FRIGGIN ONE for the answer.

No.

Few computers are powerful enough to handle the HD texture pack Bethesda released for PC a while ago, much less a console.

Stop being a liar, it's not nice :nono:
