For me, dragons are more common than rabbits.

They are irritating when you have to walk a long road without wanting to get disturbed. But then a dragon comes. And since i am a lvl 8 rogue, it is a bit hard for me to fight one. D:

Same here...or they used to be. Depending on your platform, there may be a fix for this on the Nexus. Either way, Too many dragons just become a nuisance after a while. PC users can fix this, but unfortunately console users can only continue to fight them off, one, two, or even three at a time. Frustrating to say the least

I agree after completeing the MQ,dragons are A LOT more frequent.I was doing the book of love quest and an ancient dragon shows up.I kill the with a few atronachs then 20 seconds later another ancient dragon appears. It gets really frustrating when you're trying to do a quest.

I don't encounter them that often, but I agree that they should be encountered less frequent. I also want the dragons to be tougher.

It would be perfect if the dragons where a lot tougher and became a bit more tough as you level up , but was encountered less frequently (but not seldom enough to be called "rare"). I know that you get to fight tougher dragons as you level up, but you can still encounter the lower leveled dragons, and I think they should also become tougher.

I think Dragons should always be the toughest enemy of the game (even the low level dragons), and I want to have that epic feeling you had when you encountered your first dragons during every dragon battle, so less frequent but tougher dragons would be perfect in my opinion.

Worse still is when you head into town to sell your junk only to see the merchants getting eaten. Attacking a dragon with am iron dagger and blacksmith garb sounds like a great idea.

I very rarely ever see any random dragons.
in about 70-80 hours of gameplay spread across a couple of characters, I've seen about 10 random dragons maybe 15 at most.

If I do happen to run across a random dragon, I'd say about 50% of the time they are non-aggressive anyway and just fly right by me.

Literally, in my case. I've only slaughtered 7 bunnies, but I've killed 23 dragons.

Heh. For me they are rarer than Wispmothers. About 75 hours played, i've had two random dragons. That is in addition to the main quest ones and the dragon lair ones.

And dragons can attack inside walled cities? Nonsense. I've played over 800 hours since release and that hasn't happened once.

I like the abundance of dragons but I HATE the ones that fly above you just out of range of anything and never try to attack you. You know, the ones that defy all laws of physics with their break-neck turns just as you fire off your fireball/arrow/etc and avoid it.

Pro Tip: Staff of Magnus has an extra long range. Very handy at getting the attention of those hard-to-reach dragons.

I've had nearly as many dragons as bears. There's one random dragon outside Whiterun who isn't aggressive towards me and I had another one who was engaged in a fight with a giant who didn't give a flip about me but everywhere else it's dragon, dragon, oh look another flipping dragon. Two Ancient Dragons at once? Been there. Kill a dragon in Riverwood, go inside the trader come back out to another one? Done that. The best ones are the hostile ones who don't have the decency to land and just chase me from cell to cell.

I'd like the dragons if they'd just leave me alone after the MQ. They can still fly around and blast bandits if they want but leave the Dragonborn in peace. Please.

Happened to me once, it attacked me right outside my house in Solitude and it's really annoying because the body never disappeared. Dragon bones have just been lying there, in the center of Solitude for the whole game..

It's not nonsense, I've had dragons in both Solitude and Riften.

It's a pain when you get more than one attack you at the same time I agree, but it's part of the story I guess.

The worst I've had is two at once, then another one shortly after. :(

I kinda' wish I could say that I've been having a Dragon problem, but I barely see any. *sigh*
Although, I think I'll take it as a blessing regarding some of these responses!

Worst I've had was 4 at once but I'm using a mod that adds more types of dragon. The battle started with two of these twin dragons that summon a sort of copy of themselves. Had to set the difficulty to novice to kill them lol.

You didnt have to go in the gates
But you did have to fight the Daedra coming out of those gates, and that usually led to entering those gates so you could close them permanently.

Dragons can be annoying. They have disrupted my emporer assasinating, assasinating, talking to npcs, going to the mages collage.
They also help sometimes.

It's annoying when they fly out of reach and stop you fast traveling, because they JUST WON'T GO AWAY!
Can't kill them, they don't attack, but they still hang around.

But I don't mind dragons randomly appearing.
The more the better.
After a point, they're the only decent prey left.

The stupid flying but not attacking pisses me off though.

If you look at the city in the CK, with the "markers" activated, you can see all the places laid out where they will land. Thety are rare but they are programmed in the game to appear inside the cities.

They most definately can attack within walls.

They attack within the mages college. In solitude. One appeared over Rifton once.

Yeah I already killed Alduin. I already have lots of dragon bones and scales. They keep attacking me too frequently when I'm trying to do other things. They're just an unwelcome nuisance now. It seems as if Bethesda deliberately put things in this game just to annoy you, Dragons attack every time I go to the college of mages.
