No g.e.c.k for xbox360

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 4:15 am

[censored].

We pay 60$ for this game and we cant pirate it so we all pay for it..
They make the most money off of us.

And we arent allowed to use g.e.c.k...Wow.

I already beat this game over and over ive done everything its too easy and there is not enough content to keep it interesting.
Its like... they think people that play xbox are uncreative and dont care about modding and making maps and having endless fun.

I cant think of a single reason why they couldnt have put a 2nd disc that had g.e.c.k on it or even put it on the first disk cuz there was definitly room for it.
At least have us pay xtra for it...
Id pay 20$ for g.e.c.k on my 360...

Whoever is responsible just gave us xbox players a big middle finger to the face and then kicked us in the balls...
Thanks alot guys....

InB4lock.
Anyway, a 360 can't support the GECK.
And if you're already bored with the game then get a new one or get it for PC and create mods yourself.
You could get Two Worlds II, it looks pretty all right.

Your right about us being treated less(mainly PS3 users) then the PC users. We spend actual money on their broken game while the PC users can get it for free and they are treated better. This is complete non-sense; I hope Bethesda realizes that there isn't much money to be made on the PC. However I am positive that the geck will never come to the consoles.

Bethesda is not at fault, blame Sony or microsoft, we've been over this several times in this forum, to put it simply an Xbox or PS3 lacks the RAM and File system to support a GECK, again not Bethesda's Fault, Sony and Microsoft

Wat do people mean a 360 can't support a GECK we have hardrives that can store several things i don't think a computer has anything special to use the GECk besides a big memory unit

The core game is good.
Its just this games seems like its meant to be modded and it could have so much more potential.

When i first looked at the map i was like... oh this is a small map.. oh well ill walk around and i bet ill have fun.
And then i found out 50% of the map is impassible barriers and mountains.
And most of the locations were a bucket and a couple scraps of paper called "powder ganger abandoned camp"

Come on.. i can do better then that... in like 5 minutes i could make at least something interesting...
Really..

lol...

Thats why i want the g.e.c.k..

This thread ran its course rather quickly. After reviewing it more closely I will likely be sending out some warnings - please remember in the future to keep your comment civil and that calling people a troll is explicitly against the rules.

I cant think of a single reason why they couldnt have put a 2nd disc that had g.e.c.k on it or even put it on the first disk cuz there was definitly room for it.

There are several reasons:

1. Microsoft won't allow it.

2. Even if Microsoft would allow it the Construction Set is a Windows application - not a program that runs in Windows but one built on a foundation of Windows architecture. The XBox 360 lacks this fundamental architecture so it cannot support the editor and porting it would be effectively impossible.

3. Even if the XBox 360 supported the software it is quite unlikely that the XBox 360 has the hardware to run it. Consoles have hardware streamed to play games and the editor requires quite a lot of RAM to run properly.

Each system has it's own strengths and weaknesses. PCs are more expensive, more futsy, and far less straight forward than gaming consoles but their flexibility and openess also makes things like the CD possible.
