Anyone ever notice how the Forsworn look similar to Wendol fiends in 13th Warrior?

Calling it now: Before the end of the thread, someone will make the connections and call for a Beowulf DLC/Mod.

I think so, but i think a much stronger resemblance is Beowulf, I think it would make a great DLC/Mod too.

13th Warrior is based on Beowulf, which was the point behind my post.

Yes a beowulf DLC/Mod would be good.

Seriosuly the only 13th warrior reference i can connect is maybe Alrik'r warriors.

You seemed to only post in direct response to mine, rather than actually making the connection. Joke was already killed, might as well hammer in the nails to the coffin.

considering the forsworn don't pretend to be bears (which would be cool) I don't see much of a resemblance. But I really like the 13th warrior. Would Antonio's character be a redguard? hmmm...

That's true the Forsworn don't pretend to act like bears. I haven't seen Beowulf movie in a long time, so I don't remember. The similarities that I found between Forsworn & Wendols that made me create this thread was:
  • They wore crude animal skin clothing.
  • They were primitive.
  • Collected human skulls.
  • Wendol mother somewhat resembled the Forsworn Shaman, no?

Wendols are humanoid cannibals. Are Forsworn? I've never really come across a Forsworn devouring human flesh before.

I havent come across any cannibalism either, though there is a disturbing large amount of blood, animal parts, and I have found human flesh on various corpses...so yeah there is that
