So I recently purchased Forza 4 and it's an amazing game, but here's where I think it's broken. In the very first season I was able to purchase a Dodge Viper (you'd think I'd have to work my way up to afford an expensive sports car...I had some extra credits because I imported my Forza 3 file, but still) and once I selected it as my car the races that it offered me in World Tour mode were A class races. So when the narrator is all like 'now you'll be racing against slightly faster and more competitive cars' in season two (or something like that) in reality I'm racing against Corvettes and the like in my A class Viper. Where's the progression? I can afford an R class car right now and I'm only at the beginning of the 3rd season and I've been driving the Viper ever since season 1 because why would I go back to a D class or C class car after getting my dream car? It's kind of upsetting that I could go right out and buy my dream car without any effort, or any feeling of working my way up to it.
I'm probably going to drive the Viper for the rest of the game. I know I can select another car and do other types of races, but why drive slow? Why downgrade now? So....thoughts?
I also find myself wanting to get the DLC car packs, but again the Viper is my favorite car so I'm not sure if I'd even drive anything else.
